Workshop on tobacco & alcohol prevention for healthcare workers was held at Anuradhapura Ceybank restaurant from 23rd October to 24th October. Primary healthcare workers from north central and north western provinces including MO/NCD, MO/MH and MOH participated in it. Prof.Diyanath Samarasinghe (Consultant Psychiatrist), Dr.Dhanuja Mahesh (Consultant Psychiatrist- Tangalle hospital), Dr.Anu Prabha(Consultant Psychiatrist at Anuradhapura TH), Mr.Duminda Guruge(Senior lecturer in health promotion, Rajarata University.).

     The workshop mainly focused on improving skills, knowledge & attitude on tobacco and alcohol prevention and to build an effective team on tobacco and alcohol prevention district vise.
