The Chairman of the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol, Dr Samadhi Rajapaksa urged from Sri Lankan citizens not to promote or encourage, but to discourage the use of alcohol on social media in today's catastrophic situation as responsible Sri Lankans.
He further emphasized that when liquor stores are closed for the well-being of the public, NATA will not hesitate to take legal action for tobacco and/or alcohol advertising in violation of the NATA Act.
