The program was collaboratively organized by the National Authority on Tobacco & Alcohol(NATA) and the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) on 18^th August 2020 at the Albatross, Waters Edge, Battaramulla. The program was welcomed by the Dr Palitha Karunapema (Director - HPB) and Dr Samadhi Rajapaksa (Chairman- NATA) explained the  NATA Act with its scope and limitations.  The followed session of correlation of Tobacco & Alcohol Usage with Having Cancer was done by the Dr Janaki Vidanapathirana (Director - NCCP). Then, Dr Priyanga Ranasingha (Consultant Community Physicians), discussed the community level approaches in more practical way. 

In the evening session, Dr Venura Palihawadana (Consultant psychiatrist, Colombo south teaching hospital - Senior lecturer in psychiatry, University of Sri Jayawardhanapura) conducted the session on Industry interference of tobacco & alcohol.  The participation certificates were distributed and finally, the vote of thank was done by Dr Uthapala Amarasinghe (Consultant Community Physician, Head Training and IEC Development Units, Health Promotion Bureau).
