National Independence Day, a tobacco and alcohol prevention walk

In commemoration of National Independence Day, a tobacco and alcohol prevention walk was held on February 4, 2025, in collaboration and guidance with the PHI of MOH Office, Kotagala, Nuwara Eliya and Cambridge College, Kotagala, Nuwara Eliya.

11 tobacco-free zones in the Anuradhapura district.

With the collaboration of NATA and the Regional Director of Health Services Office, Anuradhapura, tobacco-free zone declaration billboards were placed in 11 tobacco-free zones in the Anuradhapura district. The dedicated PHIs monitored the process and demonstrated their unwavering commitment to conducting this program.
